Hidden Gems & Hometown Faves: Bravo Bravo in Mystic, CT

If you’re ever in Mystic, Connecticut and craving a memorable meal, let me introduce you to one of our all-time favorite spots: Bravo Bravo.

Located right in the heart of downtown Mystic, next to the iconic drawbridge, this cozy yet stylish restaurant has been part of my life for years. I used to go with family and friends long before Rocco and I started dating—and now it’s become one of our go-to date night destinations.

Their food is consistently amazing, but lately I’ve been absolutely hooked on the shortrib and mac & cheese. It’s rich, flavorful, and pure comfort in a bowl. Pair it with one of their creative cocktails, and don’t skip dessert—because yes, it’s that good.

One of my favorite recent memories? Last Christmas, after visiting the magical Stonington Christmas tree with friends, we wrapped up the night with dinner at Bravo Bravo. The holiday lights, the laughter, and that meal—it was perfect.
