How do you know if your license is REAL ID-ready

Look for a star in the upper right corner of your license or ID card. If it’s there, you’re good to go!

If not? Time to head to your local DMV and get it updated!

**Without a REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, you won’t be allowed to board domestic flights—yes, even for short trips or weekend getaways.
